Small introduction post about 3rd-Eden.com, what kind of blog / website will this be, and what can U expect from me.

My name is Arnout Kazemier, and I will be your guide in the world of development and design. I’m a web developer who has spend a number of years building sites and designing rich user interfaces. Here at 3rd-Eden I will be sharing my experience, knowledge and vision on RIA (Rich Internet Applications) and I hope U will follow me on this journey.

My main focus will be Ajax framework: Spry, for those of u who don’t know what Spry is:

The Spry framework for Ajax is a JavaScript library that provides easy-to-use yet powerful Ajax functionality that allows designers to build pages that provide a richer experience for their users. It is designed to take the complexity out of Ajax and allow designers to easily create Web 2.0 pages.

I would be the walking proof of the SPRY concept, I used to be one of those designers with the ‘fear’ for complex Ajax applications, since i got my hands on Spry, its been implemented in all my projects. But of course Spry will no be my only focus
there are allot of great tools, techniques and designs out there. And I will make sure this will be ride of a lifetime!
